Installation of DAC 10.1.3.4.1 in Windows7/8

I was just installing DAC 10.1.3.4.1 in my new Windows 8 machine and was facing this issue for a quite some time. I just got it resolved and thought post it.

 

1. Go to the instllation setup in the path DAC/disk1/install and click on setup.exe as Administrator. You will get the following error mentioned below.


 


2.  To avoid this go into the path DAC/Disk1/install/win32 and in that right click on setup.exe and go to properties. In that change the compatibility properties to Vista Service Pack 2






 3.Once this is done run this setup as Administrator and complete the process.
4. Specify the Home Location for the installation.

7. Provide the Informatica Power Center Path and the domain file location.
